Resolving Performance Issues When LHQ is Slow or Unresponsive

Overview

This article describes steps you can take when Lyris HQ site is loading slowly, or not loading at all.

Solution

Oftentimes, when Lyris HQ runs slowly it is because of high server load from other users and tends to clear up after a little while. If you experience constant performance, display issues, or unexplained behavior it is usually a sign that the following steps should be performed:

1.  Ensure you meet the following minimum system requirements.
  • 1 GB RAM. You can view this on Windows by right-clicking the Computer icon and then clicking Properties.
  • Supported browser. Currently, supported browsers are Internet Explorer 7, 8, and Firefox 3.6 or newer.
2.   Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  • In Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome, this can be done by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete at the same time on your keyboard.
  • Internet Explorer calls the cache temporary Internet files, so that box should be checked when clearing.
  • For more information refer to the official instructions:
3.  Try using Lyris HQ from a co-worker's computer or incognito mode.
  • If your co-worker's computer is working better than yours, try using another web browser or have your IT help you troubleshoot.
4. If nothing helps, please submit a Support ticket and provide the following information for further investigation:
      • Which interface do you use to access the site? (ACM, LHQ, EmailLabs?)
      • Which Organization or site ID?

The agent should elevate this ticket to the Operations team. For more information about elevating tickets to Engineering and SaaS teams, refer to the article Jira End to End Process.
