Segments setup limitations

Overview

You try to create a segment that refers to people that opened a single email but when you add either a new group or condition to the segment it says 0 contacts.

Information

The segment condition will not work if you're trying to filter users from the same mailing twice (or more).

For example, if you want to filter the users who have opened the mailer once, and you are using the following conditions:
1) Users who opened the message <Mailer 1>... at least 1 times
2) Users who opened the message <Mailer 1> ... at least 1 times
3) Users who opened the message <Mailer 2>... at least 1 times
4) Users who opened the message <Mailer 2>... at least 1 times

The above segment will not generate as the same mailings are being used multiple times for filtering. You should only use each mailing a single time, for the segment to be generated. So in the example above, you should use the following two conditions:
1) Users who opened the message <Mailer 1>... at least 1 times
2) Users who opened the message <Mailer 2>... at least 1 times

Agents may investigate why the customer can't create a segment under his\her organization.

Agents will need to:

  1. Clarify which interface the customer is using (ACM or EmailLabs).
  2. Request the name of the mailing list and segment name the customer created which shows 0 results.
  3. If you need to create new entities for test purposes under the customer's organization, ask explicitly for permissions from the customer.
